On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, the Duplin County Sheriff’s office responded to a shooting injury on Bonham Road near Magnolia, NC. Once deputies arrived on the scene, a male and female were located in the front yard. The male subject was unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound in his back. The female was unresponsive. The subjects were later identified as Tammy Hannah, age, 27 and Ever Elizar Espinoza , age 30. Espinoza was transported to Vidant Hospital in Greenville as a result of his injuries. Tammy Hannah is deceased due to injuries sustained from a gunshot wound.
The suspect in this case is Lamir Dashoun Elam, a 28 year old black male who is now wanted by the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office. Elam is 5’11 and weighs approximately 196 pounds. His last known address is East NC 24 Highway, Kenansville, NC. Elam should be considered armed and dangerous.
