A teenage student with knives at school is accused of classroom vandalism.
Brennan Bartlett, a 16-year-old boy from Willard, was charged with breaking and entering, injury to personal property and having a weapon on school property, all misdemeanors.
Bartlett is accused of breaking into a classroom at Pender High School shortly before school was dismissed for the summer and damaging posters, phone cords and a computer screen.
The school administration and resource officer figured out Bartlett was responsible, finding two pocketknives in his possession during their investigation.
“If he were my kid, I’d spank the crap out of that spoiled little brat,” a local mother said.
Bartlett was given a $500 secure bond.
