ROBESON COUNTY- Questions linger two years after the disappearance of a deputy’s daughter.
Sara Nicole Graham was 18 when she vanished on the way to her job. Around 6:30 a.m. Feb. 04, 2015, Graham left her home in Fairmont to go to work at the Walmart in Pembroke. Her father’s van – the vehicle she was driving – was found abandoned later that day in a wheat field along East McDonald Road. The van was locked. There were no signs of a struggle.
Graham was living with her father and stepmother who were both deputies at the time. Her stepmother Connie Graham was fired March 18, 2015. She is a suspect in the case.
The FBI took over the case a few weeks into the investigation and is offering a $5,000 reward for information.
Graham is described as a Native American with brown, shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She wore glasses and had braces on her teeth. She was five foot three inches tall and weighed 160 pounds. She was wearing her Walmart work vest when she left her home.
