4 off the street in Duplin

On December 8, 2016, after months of investigation, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office and the Beulaville Police Department executed a search warrant on a residence on West Robertson Street in the Beulaville city limits. The residence was owned by Darlene Smith. The residence was occupied by several subjects including one small child. Located inside the residence were 12.7 grams of Methamphetamine, .5 grams of Cocaine, seven Hydrocodone pills, 64 grams of Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $1,133.00 in U.S. Currency. Arrested were Darlene Cynthia Smith, Robert Mathis, III, Eric Dudley, Rhonda Alexander and Glenwood Sanderson.

Darlene Smith was charged with Possession With Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession With Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Schedule II Substances, Manufacturing Marijuana, Maintain and Vehicle/Dwelling Place to Keep Controlled Substances, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia. Smith was placed in the Duplin County Jail with a $13,300.00 secure bond.

Robert Mathis, III was charged with Possession With Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession With Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Schedule II Substances, Manufacturing Marijuana, Maintain a Vehicle/Dwelling Place to Keep Controlled Substances, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia. Mathis was placed in the Duplin County Jail with a $13,300.00 secure bond.

Eric Kareem Dudley was charged with Possession With Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Manufacturing Schedule II Substances, Possession of Controlled Substance in Jail, Simple Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Dudley was placed in the Duplin County Jail with a $17,500 secure bond.

Rhonda Alexander was charged with Felony Possession of Cocaine and Simple Possession of Marijuana. Alexander was placed in the Duplin County Jail with a $2,500 secure bond.

Glenwood Sanderson was charged with Felony Possession of Cocaine, Simple Possession of Marijuana and Resisting Public Officer. Sanderson was placed in the Duplin County Jail with a $2,000 secure bond.
